Two Campuses
 Effective August 2010, CAIS will be operating on two campuses with Preparatory and Grades 4 through 12 students remaining on the main campus in Kowloon City and Grades 1 through 3 moving to a second campus in Shek Kip Mei.  When the new school in Lai Chi Kok opens, it is intended that all students from Preparatory through grade 12 will move to the new premises.

Extended Primary Second Languages Instruction
Preparatory through grade 3 students will begin receiving daily lessons in Mandarin. Total instructional time for second languages at these levels will be nearly doubled from the previous years. Students from Grade 4-12 have the option of studying French as a second language.

Expanded Advanced Placement (AP) Program
 Students in Grades 11 and 12 will have numerous Advanced Placement (AP) options from which to select (refer to the Secondary Academic Program for details).

Alberta Credits at Grade 9
 Grade 9 students will have extended options for selecting courses that can earn credits towards an Alberta Diploma (refer to the Secondary Academic Program for details).
